4 year old female Dobermann available for adoption

Tia is a 4 year old female Dobermann. She needs a new home through no fault of her own.

Tia has been passed around multiple homes and bred several times and six months ago was taken in by an elderly couple who weren’t able to meet her needs so she is currently with a couple who have taken her in but cannot keep her.

Tia’s a very friendly girl and is happy meeting new people. She’s not socialised around other dogs and can bark when she sees them but it doesn’t seem aggressive so she just needs a home to help her with socialisation.

Tia needs to be an only dog initially and she can’t live with cats.

We don’t know that she’s lived with children but in her current home, she’s met the grandchildren and been good with them so we’d consider a home with children 8+ although younger visiting children would be ok (subject to meeting them and being comfortable).

Tia travels well, walks well on a halti, sleeps through the night and is a total sweetheart.

Tia’s chipped but not yet vaccinated or spayed (both will be done ASAP). Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire.

As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet.

For further details regarding adopting a dog from JLP Trust Animal Rescue in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, please email enquiries@jlptrustanimalrescue.org.uk or telephone 07766 766252, 07950 404074 or 07727 307337.

JLP Trust Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue in South Yorkshire (Rotherham and the surrounding areas) and we offer help to animals who need us to find them a new home for whatever the reason.

Sadly many animals, especially in the South Yorkshire area, find themselves needing a new home, abandoned or neglected through no fault of their own. We try to help as many of these as possible through providing help with rehoming, foster homes and help to owners wherever possible to ensure that the animals remain safe, looked after and loved until a new forever home can be found.

For every animal we help we provide homechecks, vaccination, neutering and microchipping and lifetime back up if anything should go wrong in their new home.
