Yuca is a 3 year old female English Setter. She is a stunning tricolour. A wonderful girl who is great with other dogs and adores humans, especially her mum!
Yuca goes to work with her mum where she is loved by everyone who meets her and the whole team at work. It’s hard not to fall in love with this girl!
Yuca loves nothing more than spending time in the garden catching leaves and feathers. She is starting to learn to play with toys, her favourite being her squeaky duck which she will play fetch in exchange for a nice treat!
As you can see from the videos on her post on our website, she is a real joy to watch. She is also doing well with her basic training although, in true working Setter fashion, is in a long line for her safety!
Yuca travelled to the UK in January and was adopted by a lovely family in Dorset. Unfortunately, things have not worked out as the family had hoped and she is now looking for a new home.
Yuca does struggle with separation anxiety so will need to be with a resident dog and a patient adopter who is around most of the time to support her to become more confident day to day.
Although Seren currently lives with young children and is very good with them, a quiet home with a routine would be more suited to her.
Yuca can also live with confident cats if introductions are done properly. Yuca is in Dorset. Yuca was born on 1st July 2020.
