Kormi is a 12 year old female Puli Cross. Her owner died and she was left abandoned in a house. She was in a very poor state when found and was heavily pregnant with puppies.
Her four puppies were born in less than a week in the shelter and Kormi has been living there for the past 2 years.
Kormi is a sweet-natured little girl, she loves attention and would sell her soul for being loved and cuddled.
Kormi trusted her carers straight away in the shelter, she loves people. She is very human-centred and likes being the centre of attention.
Kormi is good around children too and is one of the favourites to be taken on walks on family days. She loves going on a walk and walks nicely on the lead, stopping frequently for some fuss.
Kormi also loves running free whenever she gets the chance. Despite her age, she is fit and healthy and is still full of energy who would be a perfect walking partner for her family.
Kormi does not cope well in her kennel and is always eager to get out and have a good run. She is sociable and curious around other dogs and gets on well with her mates in the shelter.
Kormi would deserve better than having to live the rest of her life in a shelter when she could be a wonderful companion in the right family.
Kormi would be best suited for a family without or with older children where she is not left alone for long periods and can spend precious time with her humans.
Kormi could happily live with another friendly, well-balanced dog or be the centre of attention as the only dog in the household.
Like all rescue dogs, she will need time, patience, love and commitment from her adoptive family to become a happy, well-balanced dog. Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first-time owners, please.
Kormi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for her.
Kormi comes spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork. Adoption is subject to Home Check and Adoption fee. Full RBU provided.
