Koda is a 2 year old male German Shepherd Dog. He is crate-trained and house-trained. Koda can be left home alone for a few hours.
Koda is dog reactive and can live with children 16 plus. Koda will require an experienced and active home, here’s what his foster family have to say about him.
“Koda is a lovely boy who wants to play all the time and follows you everywhere you go. He becomes attached very quickly and you will be joined at the hip.
Koda is an active boy and loves going out on walks and exploring new places but when he picks up a scent, you’ll know about it.
Koda can be very vocal too and will let you know his feelings. Koda loves playing with the toys he has with his favourite being tennis balls.
Make sure you have 2 to play with or be prepared to see them get torn apart. He can be very cuddly, especially in the evenings when he knows it’s bedtime and has settled down for the night.
Can take a while to get to know new people but once he gets comfortable, it will be constant playtime. He will love you dearly and will become very protective of you.
Koda is reactive to dogs and for this reason, he can not be let off the lead and needs to be walked in quieter places however with training this could improve.
New surroundings and sounds may take a while for him to get used to. However, his lead walking has improved and is shown on walks.
Koda is crate and house-trained and can be left alone in the house without the worry of him destroying anything. Although you can guarantee you’ll be greeted by a happy dog who will bring you a toy.”
