Maffi is a 4 year old male Bichon Frise Cross. He was rescued from his owner in a very poor condition, with filthy rasta hair and a brutal untreated ear infection that made him partly deaf in one ear.
Maffi is slowly gaining back his hearing now that his ear’s getting treated. He now stays in a small shelter and is ready to start a new life in a new home.
Maffi has a lovely nature, he loves people and is very cuddly and affectionate. He is very friendly and adaptable and endures heroically his ear being treated daily.
Maffi is an intelligent boy too who is receptive to training and happy to learn new things.
Maffi is happy and playful around dogs too and gets on well with the other dogs in the shelter. Despite his troubled past, he is an open, kind-natured doggie.
Maffi is also friendly with cats. He is fully toilet-trained and travels nicely in the car.
Maffi would be best suited for a family without or with older children where he is not left alone for long periods and is part of the family’s activities.
Maffi could happily live with another friendly and playful dog and he can also live with cats.
Like all rescue dogs, he will need time, patience, love and commitment from his adoptive family to become a happy, well-balanced dog. Experience with rescue dogs preferred. No first-time owners, please.
Maffi is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him.
Maffi comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, flea and tick treated, with an EU passport and DEFRA-approved paperwork.
