Rio is a 3 year old male Rottweiler. He is such a stunning lad and will get admiring looks from everyone he meets.
Rio has come to the rescue through no fault of his own and is a very well-behaved young man. Rio needs fit and active owners, who are used to larger dogs and have lots of time for walks and fun.
Rio is good in the home, house-trained and can be left for a few hours with no issues. He is good on his walks, pulls a little at first, but soon calms down, but his recall could do with a little work.
Gentle and loving Rio is used to living with older children, so we would consider home, with sensible, dog savvy, older children, aged 12+.
Rio hasn’t lived with any other animals, his current owner described him as excitable around other dogs, but we have found him to be good around dogs, even being a little submissive.
