Roly Poly is a 10 year old male Mastiff. He is the truest definition of a gentle giant. Although a large lad.
Roly Poly walks beautifully well on the lead, is polite when meeting new people and knows some basic obedience skills.
Roly Poly has found his way to Teckles through no fault of his own and is desperate to get back to all his home comforts.
Roly-poly has lived in a home before where he was housetrained and could be left for short periods alone.
More recently he had been used to having someone at home with him for most of the day and as he really enjoys company, we would like him to have a home where he won’t be left for long.
Being a little older, Roly would like to live in a quieter household with all his family members over the age of 14. Roly-poly has the potential to share his home with another calm, older dog.
Roly Poly is happy to say hello to most dogs on his walks (if appropriate) but as he is an older chap, he’s not too keen on the young, bouncy ones! Unfortunately, Roly is not able to live with cats.
Although not particularly demanding on exercise, Roly does still like to have a little potter on his lead and this will need this continuing in his new home.
Roly Poly is also not demanding attention – don’t get us wrong – he loves fuss and cuddles but will happily take himself off for a snooze if attention isn’t available.
Roly-poly is a firm favourite here and we can’t wait to see him back in a home and retiring in comfort.
