Saru is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He is the result of another irresponsibility, another nonsense litter.
Saru and his siblings were brought into a pound in Northern Spain as strays, why we don’t know anything about their past. We moved them to a boarding kennel, where they spend time with lots of other dogs.
The puppies can run and play, but they’re in a rural area, so they will need families who understand they haven’t had the socialization around new people, traffic, noises and lead walking.
They will need help and guidance to grow in confidence in these areas. We do not know anything about his parents (breed or size) but it seems like he will be medium-sized, although we cannot guarantee this, so in the “worst” case his new home should also be prepared for a large-sized dog in the case he grows more than expected.
We are looking for an active family or person, who is committed to the decision of adopting a puppy and with everything that this implies.
A puppy needs to be completely educated and socialized, that is why we only consider a dog-experienced home that knows how to manage the education, training and socialization of a puppy and also has the time for this.
We are looking for an adult-only home or a home without young children, as we want dogs who require more time like themselves to be the priority.
Saru is social with other dogs and an active dog, who has just started to discover the world. We are looking for people who are into the outdoors, go on different adventures at the weekends for example and generally want to explore the world with their dog(s).
Saru would enjoy having a further dog companion at home with a similar energy level and from who he would be able to learn. Nevertheless, this is not a requirement, if he gets enough dog interaction and time to play with other dogs on his walks or outdoor activities.
Saru is currently in Spain, but has already packed his bags and cannot wait to travel and discover his new home in Wales or England as soon as the right family or person comes forward.
