Spencer is a 7 year old male Patterdale Terrier. He came to our Rescue on the 11th of October 2020. He is full of life and loves swimming, long walks, and playing with balls and squeaky toys.
Spencer is a gentle and sensitive soul who will make a great companion if somebody would give him the chance. Spencer grew up in a family as a single pet.
Spencer had a very good foundation but clear from a young age that he was a ‘working terrier’ through and through.
Spencer did well in his original family but became apprehensive after a vet appointment. His owners found his energy too intense.
Spencer’s family asked for our help as they found Spencer a ‘high-end’ terrier which was making them nervous and felt he needed a terrier-experienced family.
Spencer can be very loving on his terms. He is a small lad who will bring a lot of fun into an experienced terrier family. Ideally, they can help him to unwind and chill a bit.
Spencer is settled now in kennels and his regular walkers adore him. He is comfortable and trusting of his known walkers, having got to know them over a long time.
Spencer is not for children and he cannot share a home with another pet or visit pets. In our kennels, he happily walks with other dogs at a safe distance and doesn’t react to other dogs.
