3 year old female Akita Cross available for adoption

Bailey is a 3 year old female Akita Cross. “Those who know me call me Miss Perfect, due to my impeccable nature! I came to SEDR as a stray and have been neutered and microchipped. I am currently in a family home in Rochester Kent but sadly I cannot stay here due to my human having severe allergies.

They have tried everything possible, including medication, as they love me so much and do not want to have to rehome me, but their allergies have caused their asthma to flare up and the medication makes them very drowsy and therefore unable to work.

I am an exceptionally friendly girl and I love everyone that I meet! I give the best snuggles and cuddles with me on the sofa this winter will certainly keep your heating bills down! I have exceptionally well house-trained and have not had a single accident in the home.

I am fine to be left for a few hours – one time my human was stuck in horrendous traffic after work meaning I was left for 8 hours (she felt awful but this was not her fault!) but I just slept and she came to the house exactly as she left it, and no accidents.

I am a super clever girl and love to use my brain! I know lots of commands and am always keen to learn more! I have shown no possession issues with toys or food – I am the ultimate softie! I cannot live with cats or small furries. I travel perfectly in the car, am a perfect patient at the vet’s, and have learned to walk nicely on the lead.

I have spent time with various dogs of all shapes and sizes without any issues, and my carers see no reason why I couldn’t live with another dog, or I can live as an only dog. If you would like to share your life with a complete snuggle monster who will bring so much joy into your life.” – Bailey
